emptiness fills my shattered heart
i simply dont know where to start
forgetting you i cannot see
how we were just not meant to be.

the day you walked into my heart
i knew that we would never part
you felt it too-it was in your smile
how little i knew , it would last just awhile.

the blame is mine-this i know
i said the words that made you go
no more to know your loving touch
how could i destroy what i loved so much.

now i will walk this walk alone
shattered dreams i call my own
not looking again, im outta the race
there is simply no one who could take your place!
