Bella and I are dying eggs tonight. Tomorrow we are going to get pictures with the Easter Bunny. Then off to a huge Easter egg hunt. I think we will make cupcakes and decorate them too. I might even be good and go to church! I have taught her the true meaning of Easter. So she understands. I think too many people like Christmas let the commercialism get in the way. Wow I forgot about Easter dinner oh no...

We already did the Easter eggs and since we're not Christian, I can get away with the commercialism of it all laugh laugh He's too old for pics with the Easter Bunny though sad sad

I have to figure out what to do for dinner? Normally we do ham... you think I can get away with a pot roast lol?

I'm making lamb but have to come up with something for the boo, he won't touch lamb.

Pot roast would work bigsmile

My kid won't touch ham. So I normally end up making her turkey! However, everyone else will want ham. Any ideas on middle ground?noway

I just don't want to spend the entire day in the kitchen as I usually do.

Yup, ham for everyone, turkey cutlets for your daughter, they're easy to make and pretty cheap. Probably what I'll end up doing for my son. He won't eat lamb but he loves ham but I'm not making a whole ham for 4 people noway

I hear ya! I think I will do that. How do you keep the cutlets moist though. Do you marinate them? I'm used to making the whole damn turkey!

Either cook them in broth or do what I do. Flour, egg wash, bread crumb/parmesan cheese mixture, quick fry in a pan with a little olive oil. You can do them in the oven as well just watch them.
