“Daddy its St. Patrick’s Day”

To some it is just one more day.
That comes along the way.
To me it has much more meaning.
The last few years it leaves my heart aching.

When that day comes this way.
The one they call St. Patrick’s day.
To some it’s about a day to wear green.
Drinking green beer and making a scene.

But you see to me it is much more.
No longer are you here with me anymore.
To wipe away my tears.
And to chase away my fears.

No longer upon this earth do you roam.
For God has called you home.
But as I take this time to think.
And away a tear I do blink.

Remembering the days when you were here.
And it was your voice I could hear.
As you called out my name.
You see life is just not the same.

I know you are with the one you love.
For Mom was waiting for you up above.
And now you walk hand n hand.
And beside your true love you stand.

Even though it has been four years.
To my eyes it still brings tears.
As I remember that St Patrick’s day.
Is your day, Daddy Happy Birthday.

Awww Chris they both will be in my heart till my last breath. Ya know what makes this site so worth while it is due to ones like ya. No one in my life has touched my heart like the ones I have meet here. Thank you all for always being there and your beautiful words within that spill upon these pages. Such beautiful souls each of you have.

If it weren't for you and a handful of others I would never have the courage to post in the first place

Awwwwww (((((((((((Chris)))))))))) I would give you a big ole hug in person if I could you are a shinning Star within my sky. We have laughed till we cried at times so many nights you have made the night worthwhile making me laugh and smile. You have a heart of gold. You have helped me look at life from a different view indeed. Your soul shines brighter then the north star. Huggzzzss to you my dear friend!!
