the scars we collected in those days, could be considered badges of
honor. at least they did show that we were able to something besides sit
on our fat bottom in front in front of the one eyed monster.

Was born in 1961... I remember riding my bike all over the town without
a helmet. I just had to be home before dark... *S*

In those years, if you misbehaved at school, you seriously thought about
running away from home after the last bell rang. You knew what was
going to happen and it wasn't going to be pleasant--no excuses, no
questions asked, no "My side of the story." Fortunately, misbehavior
didn't happen often.

HUMMMmmm yeah but ya know that was back when we did not have to worry
about locking our doors and was the neighbor down the street a pervert
after our children. Back when telling the truth and being honest meant
anything. When love ya neighbor meant to be friendly with them not sleep
with them ever chance one had. When familys were familys divorce rates
were down. Mothers & Fathers tried to wear that title to the highest
standards.

But life goes on and we must make the best with what we have and try to
bring at least the respect and honesty back to our children that we can.
