Is it better to be rejected by someone you have been communicating with on line, before you meet them, or after you meet them?

the on line connection was great...the face to face meeting would have been wonderful, but it didn't get that far. I was hurt, but would have been more so had we meet in person.

BEFORE you meet them..Being rejected AFTER a face to face is just cruel..It's happened to me..I wanted to string the guy up by his b*lls

If your rejected before you even meet, aren't you left with the feeling that you were not even given a chance? Isn't this just one very small insight to who you really are?
