Hello, Illinois! I just joined JSH today and am wondering...
Is it always so quiet in here?  Okay, here's a topic: Baseball is almost here! Cubs, White Sox, or Cardinals?
Discuss, and be nice!

I started out as a Cubs fan, until they decided Dusty ("Let's Pitch 'em Until Their Arms Fall Off") Baker should be named manager. Any team that would hire that guy is not a team I can root for. (I do like Piniella, though.)
I think the Sox have a better plan, actually -- Konerko has been my favorite player for some years now, although they are going to have some pitching issues. The Cardinals are too far away, although the Pujols/Rolen/Edmonds lineup was impressive, and that Dizzy Dean was one helluva pitcher! |

Having grown up in Chicago ( and lived on both the north and south sides ) I can only say I am a Chicago fan . Besides it is soooo funny if I happen to be with the kids when the Cubs and Sox play each other . Son is a Sox fan daughter a Cubs

The first game my dad took me to was 1982-the Cards were HOT that year. Die-hard Cards fan ever since. I take my kids to games a lot. Can't wait for the Cards-Cubs showdowns!

The first game my dad took me to was 1982-the Cards were HOT that year. Die-hard Cards fan ever since. I take my kids to games a lot. Can't wait for the Cards-Cubs showdowns! OMG... The first game I went to was the Sox against the Tigers in 1970.. I feel so OLD! |

cause it looks like pie (the food) but I really meant Pie the player... haha... okay... lame , I know. |

Ok, this isnt even a debate..
Cards will finish 2nd to last in the division (Thanks to Pittsburgh, maybe) Sox will finish 2nd to last in the division (Good old KC) Cubs will fight it out all year with the surprising Reds, make the playoffs, beat the Mets in the NLCS, and lose to Detroit in the World Series. |
