Who would be responsible for cooking the meals and cleaning the house? Assume you both work. Would it be truly 50/50? Or over the years would it not be so balanced?

I think it would easier to cook together... don't you? I'm all set with guys that don't cook.

I can't cook AT ALL (without fires, explosions, earthquakes, locust swarms, that sort of thing), so she will have to do the cooking. And I really have no objections to hiring somebody to clean the house, either.

I like to cook, so maybe if she's good , then I may cook for her...depends on what she wears for me around the house too

it should be 50/50 all the way now how many men do you know that will cook, clean house and drive 400miles after he gets off work to attend a graduation for a family member my brother nlaw did that he got off work and went to be there for his nephew.... he even cooks sometimes he not lazy, i can tell you that much

The better cook can do the cooking and the other can do the dishes, as for cleaning the house, 50/50

Cripes, I'd make homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner from scratch to have someone around like that!! But to answer the question, I think it's best to divide things as equally as possible - each gets to do the things they like and then divide up the rest 50/50.

I don't mind cooking, although being in the kitchen together could be fun. I love grilling out though. Charcoal or gas grills, I don't care. I love meat on the grill!

i'm gettin a roomba. i'm a good cook, and dishes become clay pidgeons now, so i use paper.

heres the thing I'll do all the laundry, work on all the stuff, do the yard all that and cook now and then I just hate the cleaning...
