“When Love Comes”


Take a look at my face.
Within my eyes you will see a place.
A place no one has ever been.
It is a place deep within.
Were only love resides.
And trust and respect guides.
You see within this heart.
Love is treated as an art.
It is protected and cherished.
So it has time to get established.
For love needs attention.
And lot’s of affection.
To give it time to grow.
Then love can flow.
Like a river as it rushes.
The love soon unleashes.
It soon begins to flow through each vein.
No longer can it remain.
There is no doubt.
That love must find a way out.
It is not something you find in a book.
You know it is there with just a look.
As eyes look upon eyes.
And it makes your heart rise.
You feel your skin tingle.
And in your heart you hear a jingle.
You look upon a face.
And you know you have found the right place.
This is when you will know.
That love took the time to grow.
Your face will be aglow.
You will know love brought that glow.
So when love comes your way.
You will know it is there to stay.
