Love is a useless emotion too, but people still strive for that. Hopefully the world will end soon, because humanity needs an enema. When I say guilt is useless, it is becuause guilt is a self loathing emotion, it does not build you up, it tears you down. You are correct humanity does need an enema, people who do something nice then feel entitled to something...really arn't all that nice now are they? Love is useless, because love is a mutual loathing emotion, it builds you up, then tears you down. And there's no entitlement issue with just saying "Hi!" to someone that said hi to you, its just what polite and nice people do. But I guess I'm alone here. Oh well, I always wanted to run away and join a leper colony. Going by your words, you said why not just say hi back, and then went on a rant about what is wrong with society, therefore you feel entitled to someone to say hello back to you.... If you feel that love is a mutual loathing...stop trying to date till you deal with your own issues. Love only tears you down if you let it. If you can't look back on even th worst relationship and find something good from it, even if it was only a life lesson... you need help. I am a fair person,I am a kind person. I am never nice...nice is fake. When I make a mistake I admit to it. I then move on, if you choose to not accept my appology... that then becomes solely your issue and no longer mine. If you are upset becuse I didn't say hello to you...again that is solely your issue. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. You make me laugh.  Well good I'm glad I did something for you since I didn't say Hello... so are we even now?  Oh, I'm sorry, we you entitled to not be even with me?  you really don't get it do you?

Dr. Phil has his grandiose moments...
 but he still rocks. I think that to not respond to a person who send you an obviously well thought out and considerate e-mail is rude. The ones that say, "Hi there" or "Just thought I'd drop you a line"... well that is hit or miss. Fact is I do reply to those, but they say "Hi back" or "where is the line... I don't see it?" is what I send back. My favorites are the ones that say "Nice smile". My reply tends to be either "My sister is a dentist" or "I'll pass that on to my parents".  For me, it tends to be I give what I get. It's easier all around. |

I mean come on ppl ... if I email everyone who *did me* I would never have time to play on the forums .... and thats where I meet the best ppl .... all the guys I've talked to I've seen in here.... you just get a feeling of what kind of person they are....when guys drop you a line.. you just don't get much from that... I know when someone makes eye contact with me in public, I scowl and turn away,or tries to initiate conversation I always tell them to go away, just like I do on-line!!!!

I'm not the one pouting becuase that mean mean boy didn't return my email... or that mean mean person didn't say hello to me in the grocery store today... but I'm the bitter one...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmk. I have slight hearing loss in one ear from years of singing in bars, so if someone says hello on that side I may not hear them, or sometimes I am deep in thought and I don't really pay attention to the world around me, so I may miss someone who speaks to me.... I'm not being rude, I just didn't hear them....don't I owe that same courtesy to others to assume they may or may not have heard me..... don't you ever have a bad day, and you get an email and think, "Oh I'll get back to that later" then later comes and you totally forget.... don't I owe that same courtesy to someone else... so instead of crying about how people treat you badly because they don't return your emails, how about you give them the benefit of the doubt and say "hey, maybe they are having a bad day" AND LET IT GO....... |
