GENERAL CONCERNS
Mingle2 now offers both free and premium versions. You can exchange emails, use the instant messenger, and browse all of our profiles without paying. That noted, there are a few things which you only get with the premium version (MinglePlus). You can see all of the premium features here.
You can block another member from contacting you in a number of ways. First, if you have a Mingle2 mail from the person, you will be able to block the person by clicking the Block User link at the bottom of the message:

Next, if you have an open IM window with the member in question, you can block in that window. There will be a button of a circle with a line through it (i.e., the "no" symbol) at the upper right of the IM window which says "block", if you mouse over it.

You can also block a member if he or she has nudged you. To the far right of the nudge, you will find a BLOCK link. Clicking this link will block the member who sent the nudge.

Finally, you can block a member if that person has requested to be your friend. Again, to the far right of the friend request, you will find a Block link.

After blocking the member, you will no longer receive any messages from him or her. If you feel that a message from the user crossed the line, however, you may also want to report it as abuse. You can report a member by clicking the REPORT THIS USER link in his or her profile or the Report Abuse/Spam link near the bottom of any mail he or she has sent. This can be done using the form at the link below. For the sake of accuracy, you may want to copy and paste the member's user name when using this form.

We do our best to make sure scammers are kept off of our site. Unfortunately, all social sites are home to incidents where one member asks another user for money. If money is exchanged, of course, the asking party disappears. If a member asks for financial assistance, he or she is almost 100% certain to be a scammer. NEVER send money to another user on Mingle2 and NEVER pay another's way.
Please report the member by using our 'Report Abuse' system. We will investigate the account and ban it, if appropriate.
