Ask someone to help you. We obviously can't. i dont think this is such a emergency i need to call a ambulance. i would feel like a idiot. So what are you going to do when you need to use the bathroom? i have to crawl, its god damn agony, but i just crawl

I wish you luck Deb....I too have had really bad back pain from scoliosis and have had to go to the emergency...they gave 2 shots in my azz and i was much better after that...so please take care and go to the hospital if you cant take it anymore...you never know..it oculd be something that needs medical attention right away

sweetie you could have pinched a siatic nerve you really need to see a doctor. that happened to me over a year ago and i did nothing that would have caused it, it just happened...very, very painful!!!

I wish you luck Deb....I too have had really bad back pain from scoliosis and have had to go to the emergency...they gave 2 shots in my azz and i was much better after that...so please take care and go to the hospital if you cant take it anymore...you never know..it oculd be something that needs medical attention right away thanks, but the hospital cant give me any stronger pain relief than what i have here. demerol is virtually the same as morphine, and in the doses of demerol ive had, probably stronger than morphine |

I had a friends mom go through this and she had a lot of the same symptoms that you are having and....I don't want to worry you sweetie but she had a tumor growing on her spinal collum!!
Please don't put this off any longer cus your back is not something to play with and you don't want to end up never being able to walk again, so pls go to the doctor ASAP...We all love you and we will pray for you sweetie!!

If you have not seen a doctor, where did you get the demerol? ive been on demerol for 4 years, i have endometriosis, i get it from my g.p, my general practioner.i also have df118, and indometacin. why are you questioning me?? I'm not questioning you. I am merely curious. It is dangerous to self medicate for a condition without first finding out why you are in pain. |

I'm sawwwy sweetie but things like this are not something to take lightly especially since you are falling and not being able to feel your legs and all, I don't want to worry you but you do need to go get it checked cus it could be something simple or something not so simple you don't know until you go.
It is always better to be safe then sorry sweetheart!! I am sad and worried for you sweetie...go pls!! |

just out of curiosity...and I dont intend to sound mean..but if you don't want people to feel bad for you..or worry about you..why did you start this thread? well if you read the thread, i was asking if this is a normal thing to happen, i know nothing about back problems, as ive never needed to. i dont want anyone to feel bad for me or worry, i was asking for advice, and ive got some advice. adj4u gave me good advice, and if it gets worse i will go to the hospital. |

with th balance/leg issue i would dare to guess L 3 4 5 whats that, something to do with your spine?? L 3, 4, and 5 are the different levels of vertebrae. L = lumber - your lower back. That is where the vertebreal disc could be pushing on your spinal cord or a nerve. Seriously, you need need a X-Ray or MRI and possibly a urinalysis. Don't see a chiropractic Dr. until you do that. why do i need a MRI or xray, ive had no injury, as im aware. my main concern is, im having a lot of neurologic problems, severe headaches every day for over a month, ive been told ive got cluster headaches. also when i was walking i lost sensation in my legs and fell on the floor, and when my mom found me on the floor out cold even though id fell out of bed, and hit wooden flooring, i still didnt wake up. ive got weakness in my hands, im having problems opening jars, plus my pupils are very dilated recently. ive been called teddy eyes because there totally black, apart from a little bit of blue, my eye colour. but the pupil issue, could be due to the demerol, opoids can cause your pupils to be dilated. Debbie, A disc in the back can go bad without an injury. Sometimes it's from an accumulation of activities over the years like reaching over your head to get something every day. Every day there could be a microscopic tear in the disc until one day it gets real bad. I'm not suggesting that this happened to you. It's just that you need to rule it out because it could get worse. Some of the symptoms that you are having could be coming from the cervical (neck) area too. I don't know anything about the other symptoms that you are having.
