It has been a while since Radio Shack has impressed me but for the price the 20-238 radio has a lot to offer. For 20 dollars you get AM-FM-SW1-SW2. But it has a lot more to offer. It has a flashlight, telescoping antenna, usb connector to charge your cell phone via the crank handle. Has AC-DC capability (three double A batteries) and a connector to run off the cigarette lighter in your car. If you live out in the country when your power can go out at any time; It can be a nice addition. I am glad they got the power back on. I wish I had a big crank handle for my computer.

WOW I have not heard the name Radio Shack for so long. It is now called The Source By Circuit City.

But yea those things are pretty handy. I have one. Great for camping.

well roy

get you an invertor

an exercise bike

a deep cycle battery

and car generator

run a belt from the wheel on the exercise bike

to the generator

and hook the generator to your battery

along with your inverter (probably at least a 500 watt one)

and you can charge your battery and get exercise

at the same time

be careful what you ask for

you just might find a way to get it

I know they are still called Radio Shack out in the states. But here they have all been changed to the Source.

Well the Radio Shack lady this morning just told me, "You know I will have to charge you 2 dollars for paying your AT&T phone bill with cash. If you pay your bill by credit or debit card you will save 2 dollars." I thought no thanks I will gladly pay the extra 2 dollars for the right to use American currency. Cash its not for everyone.laugh
