hmmmmmmm Uhhh was he being silly? I for one, do not mind a man who, running the country or not, can also have a sense of humor Would have to see the context for this one ......... I just saw it on the news, they did clarify there was a timing glitch as he was out on the white house waiting on McCain. I just think there is a time and a place for everything, especially for someone in power. I am certain he was being silly, but came across as pretty damn stupid to me (jmo) found the link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knhErtMjC8k) Hey Fran babe .. I understand what you are saying and I do agree to a point. I have a pretty high profile corporate job. When I am dealing with guests from the 'outside' I always handle myself with polish and professionalism. But when we are just the 'office' ... heck I've been known to lead the 'train' or 'electric slide' thru the office I also see where Lindy wants to compare. But I agree with you that even though that president was deplorable in his actions and showed his true character (which was immoral) that doesn't need to be lined up with this. It's two totally different things. Happy Friday's Eve everyone .. does a little 'shuffle' Thank you, I do see where others can disagree. *Closing my office door and doing the chicken dance myself* |

Lindyy says:
I see how you totally avoided the Clinton sex scandal in the Oval Office. VERY typical of a Bush basher. Look, don't put yourself 'out there' if you think all you are going to get is an 'atta boy, good job' response. You wanted comments, you got them. You did not like the responses you were trying to conjure up. OH, WELL. Get over it. There ARE people who love President Bush and the job he is doing, whether you like it or not. Lindyy |

Lindyy Ms Lindyy, Are you trying to hijack this thread??? Post is in regards to Bush's shuffle/dance and how did people react to seeing it? Nothing said about Clinton Thats like asking what did you have for dinner and the respondant says I went to college. The reply doesnt satisfy the question. PTL |

WHO decides 'the time and the place' and WHO decides what 'everything' is?
You simply did not like the reaction you got. OH, WELL. Stay out of the political arena if you cannot handle it. You cannot expect to be treated with 'soft gloves' when you make such a trivial deal out of something sooooooooooooooooooooo harmless. Lindyy |

I don't even know how anyone in here, unless they have been a president of a country, could say what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable because they just don't know....

Ms Lindyy,
Here we go again, please refrain from personal comments and/judgments of my person. why do you persist on making things look difficult??? I got no reaction, instead the response "you" posted was judgmental. Why should I stay out of the political arena??? Because of what others think? I am entitled to say what I want and I do it respectfully, hoping it's catchy If my opinion is so trivial, why are we going around and around, there is no need, I made a comment on how "I" felt, you are entitled to agree/disagree/not care/care... notice... still I am impersonal. WHO decides 'the time and the place' and WHO decides what 'everything' is? You simply did not like the reaction you got. OH, WELL. Stay out of the political arena if you cannot handle it. Lindyy attacking others is wrong and to do so is a a no no i would suggest both let it go b4 someone that matters sees it we get enough threads locked so plz everyone refrain from person attacks keep a comments in the general arena plz your cooperation would be greatly appreciated |

OMG can you believe that our president is human. The nerve of him not being a programed robot. What was he thinking about ever smiling or have a few minutes of laughter in some well deserved down time. Geeze .................. remind me to go home and throw away all the video's of me dancing around with my kids or just having fun when I had a few free minutes. Cause anyone that holds a position of power should never have a life.

i get what you are saying, in my opinion seeing a politician act a little human is like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes i just get so sick of the act they all put on i get relieved by seeing them let loose and act more like themselves (even if they look like morons doing it). But that is just me.

Just a quick question; I just saw on the news, The President of the United Stated doing the shuffle. I for one was completely embarrassed, how did you all react. What the hell was he thinking???? P.S. I am aware there was a timing glitch, but this is the man that represents Americans looking like a complete and utter moron (whether the shoe fits or not is not in question). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I saw the president dancing on TV and, Bush looked a bit awkard. I had no problem with my president doing something like that since "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." However, I brought the president dancing up on YouTube and he really looked cool, particularly for a guy his age. He was really moving and grooving. The above makes me wonder if the press deliberately showed the segment where Mr. Bush looked a bit akward. Incidentally, for you posters who are making derogatory remarks about Bush dancing, what should he have done? Ignored the people who were encouring him to dance with them? Then the Liberal Press would be screaming that Bush is racist since he didn't dance with the Africans who invited him. |
