My trip today.
I left my house at 4am got to the airport at 450ish and got checked in and everything, all good. we get to atlanta, get to the gate, get checked in, everything good. I drop him off with his mom, walk him out to the car and all that, he still says he wants to "go bye bye with daddy" It took all i had not to cry there. So they left, and i went back in the airport for my lay over. My flight was supposed to leave at 1230. We didn't leave until 4 texas time, 5 atlanta time. Needless to say i wouldn't have been so pissed except for the fact that we were delayed on the runway. So i get stuck in a non moving plane for 3 and 1/2 hours. Then we get to atlanta and my flights been moved up to 750. So i wait. Finally get on the plane and get home. I got about halfway to the house and checked the car seat to check on him and he wasn't there... |

I know how hard that is. It seems everytime I have to take my kids back to their Dad's I cry all the way home and they only live 20 minutes away. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

i went through this pain for 19 years now.and now i am going through it with my new x my daughter is 6 so now i have a 11 year ride.the pain i have went through has made me strong.i would not wish it on know one.

Especially, when you're a good mother or father and have to deal with such separation from your child. I don't know your story either (as evilolive said). But, I don't need to know the details in depth to get choked up. I'm sorry for your disheartening emotions right now. I wish I could give you a hug.. even though I wouldn't make much of a difference  Stay positive; I know sometimes it's hard to do. But, it's the only right thing to do in the long wrong. I beat myself up all the time over it. I was living in the same city as him, but i've ****ed up so much in my past that i couldn't do it anymore. its a long story. |
