My heart is leaping with joy!!! I just listened to his speech and any reservation (if any) I may have had are gone!

OK,now I know this will get a ton of bashing, but knock yourselfs out.

This is a man who knows how to fight terrorism, low taxes, small government, pro life, lower cost of health care (not force us to buy it and be told who to go to and when you can have what done) on and on......

"I owe my country every opportunity I have had." John McCain 3/4/08.

And, the man sacrificed his life and suffered for his country!!

Good, the Republicans finally have a candidate.

Wonder who he'll pick for his VP?

Herman Munster? Uh, I meant Mitt Romney.

mnhiker...... And who will your precious rats, I mean Democrats pick for VP? Will Hillary pick Obama? Will Obama pick Hillary? Nooooooooo, there is a real possibility that you won't even have a Democrat Party, that the two of them will implode it with all their attacks on each other.

Stupid Hillary should just concede the race to Obama. He's got most of the delegates anyway.

I never said I was a Democrat and I'm undecided who I'll vote for in November.

while I don't share your enthusiasm I do respect John MaCain and I sure hope you are right.BTW I just listened to Huckabee's conscession speech and talk about a Class ACT.Not sure I would have voted fo him but he ran a great campain and he was gracious in defeat.

There will never be a person who fits eveyone's likes, etc. 100%.

I am a devout Christian, but no way did I want Huckelberry. That is all I have to say about him. But, I feel he might be chosen to run for VP because of the evangelical vote, which would be ME in the normal situation. But, I have great reservations about him.

That is true and I wasn't 100% comfortable with wome of Huckabee's idea's.The VP choice will be the key.IMO I have heard that Sanford of my state is being considered. Not sure about that one either.AS a back sliden' Baptist and ploitical independant I really don't have a dog in the fight.I just hope McCain doesn't pick Fienstein,Kennedy or Biden noway

I don't think it'll be Obama or Hillary getting to pick a VP...I think they'll have to take anyone who would want to be associated with either of them and I don't know where they are going to find anyone like that unless they take a look at some of the members in here...bigsmile

Never got into name calling that isn't Christian or nice, but whatever. Personally, I think we don't have great choices.

Well, it HAS to be McCain to get elected President. The world is heating up again. Three houses in state of Washington burned down thanks to ELF a dangerous terrorist group, Chavez is after Columbia, great, just great.

So, who do we want in the Whitehouse answering the phone at 3:00 a.m.? NOT someone with absolutely NO experience -Obama, he will want to sit and chit chat with Chavez, NOT Clinton, she will breakdown and cry over the stresful situation.

I would like to See Colin Powell, but did he not want to get out of politics? I do not think Condi will want any parts of VP. She is excellent where she is at now.

WHY some people on this site cannot understand that the world is now and forever fighting terrorism, is totally beyond my comprehension.

You are correct. There is no way Obama would ever be Hillary's VP .... not after the racist way she trashed him. Also, Hillary would never want to be Obama's VP since she has done nothing but play second fiddle during the whole time she was married to Bill.
