Dead puppies don't usually yelp .. sounds are easily dubbed in.

Second off if this is what they do for fun (if it is fake) it has to make you question their mental capacity and being they are defending the country I live in, this really makes me uneasy. If it is real this is just deplorable, there is no honor in what they did. Last but not least, Honor, Respect, Valor...

He didn't throw the puppy very far or very hard, fortunately, and the media went crazy over it. I think it was either a hoax or a young guy that was trying to joke around and didn't realize what he was doing. He'll be found out, he'll get a fine and some restriction (that's how the military deals with that type of thing) and he'll learn not to mistreat animals again. You have to remember this is one guy out of millions in the military. I was in the Army 23.5 years and never saw anything like this before, too. So, this is a very isolated case which has gained worldwide publicity due to the new media environment. I do thought what he did was reprehensible, and I think the military will deal with it properly, if this guy is, indeed, a Marine.

well i saw this in the paper earlier so i dont know how bad exactly it was but i could not beleive how the hell he could do that to a poor defencles puppy. and even the other marine who was with him saying "awww cute puppy" before it was thrown off was horrible!!!!!!!!!! if thats true then they should be punished for doing that specially if the dog was killed as a result

So are you trying to justify this terrible display by saying most servicemen are not like that? I know most are not like that, I've met some very respectable service men and women. But this is like the apple tree, only takes one and no one wants to eat the others. I do understand these are isolated cases, but that is not the point, the point is they are wearing a uniform with a countries flag on it they are representing that country...and this is just a poor representation.

I just saw it and it pisses me off. Those guys need to be dishonorably discharged and then punished for their actions. Its a known fact that those who hurt animals for amusement often end up as murderers and rapists. And yes I'm a cat lover. If you don't like cats, fine, but don't bash cats or cat lovers cause that pisses me off as well. And I'm being mild about

Humans are dispensible, animals aren't?
