just been reading my weekly mag, and came across the story of the childrens home in Jersey called Haut de la Garenne, it come under a alleged child abuse scandal recently, when 150 ex residents claimed abuse...they have recently found childrens remains, a torture chamber, shackles and there are walled up rooms in the cellers that they think might contain more remains, whats bugging me is how no one knew what was going on, its a small island the abuse went on for more than 50 years, how can any one have missed this horror ..makes me sick to think what those poors kids went threw...sorry had to vent

More crimes against children. It disgusts me. When will we start standing up for kids-all kids-and make these abusers,pedophiles,monsters pay?

It was all over the news last week.What is it with these sick freaks and kids.I would love 5 minutes in a room with 1 of them and a good sharp knife

I just read some articles and watched some news stories.... sick...but why didn't people come forward sooner?? It always makes me wonder why if this woman is 49 and was there when she was 13 didn't she come forward when she got out??

It always makes me wonder why if this woman is 49 and was there when she was 13 didn't she come forward when she got out?? maybe they were scared hun, or it was so bad its took them this long to feel right about saying something, if you are a child and told never to speak about whats happened and abused this way it doesnt leave u when you get older

I'm not saying it didn't happen... I'm just curious as to the whole story. It's sick that's for damn sure, kids need our protection and anyone who abuses that needs to be castrated with a dull blunt object.Like the teeth of a grounhog or something just as horrific... but I know there has to be more to the story...

its a small island hun, most will have got out and dispersed all over england, have read similar stories in past involving homes run by nuns and priests, they scare the sh*t out these kids so much, make em believe no ones going to listen...then years later one breaks down tell the story and then more come out..this time though they are finding hidden evidence and its not nice

Unfortunatly this is more commen then most people think. There was a couple in the 70s that kept their daughter in a dark room tied to a chair for 13 years. No one even knew they had a daughter. There are some sick people out there.

Well where I live there are the Kennmore Kids there were like 5 or 6 children in a home and their moms.. abused them it was really horrible when it came out, but my point is, that it came out as soon as they got free..... http://www.newsnet5.com/home-backup/13775024/detail.html
