I think that somewhere there is someone out there that wont want to change anything about me but my last name .. who will love me for who I am and what I can be .. who will grow old with me and we can build our own little empire .. then i wake up and would settle for someone who does not get on my nerves thru dinner grumble

Distance .... a challenge? Nope.

Waiting for Departure Date ..... that's a challenge. Patience is a virtue and when I finally hit departure date I'll be a Saint.

Ahhh, as I'm sure many of us online socializers feel about our selves as well. You can only show so much of your characteristics on the net, in hopes that they're being preceived and/or interpreted accordingly.. Not to mention, some people just don't take good pics., but are quite attractive in person!!

There was supposed to be a smilie at the end of the post. I am pretty numb actually, trying not to let it affect my ego TOO bad. I have made some bad decisions in my quest for dates, but it is a definate re-learning process

I agree with that, in the sense that you can't know the outcome until it's over... My sister in law's Grandmother and grandfather ,both in their mid 70s and having just passed their 50th , ended their marriage with a very serious and bitter divorce battle over property and assets...Really messy and left the family confused and somewhat divided...

but I diverge... sorry to go off topic...

my online relationship, imploded after 9 mths. of living together and getting married and now divorced. My sister met her mate online and they are adorable together. I think it works for some people and not for others
