well, maybe.

this is what i am hoping you guys can help me with...i have someone that sends me mail to my yahoo address that i want to BELIEVE that i am not receiving their messages.

i want him to think that he cannot contact me by yahoo. i know how to block him...but he doesn't get the feedback that i haven't read his message...and that is critical.

it'd be nice if he received a "full mailbox" message or something that says that my account doesn't exist...WITHOUT deleting an account that i've had for freaking ever.

can't.

we have a no contact order (which he's in violation of by emailing me). however, if he gets the order overturned, he MAY be able to use that address as a way to contact me for other legal actions...which i'm trying to avoid.

Here we go back to some posts last night. Honesty is the best policy. Why don't you block him? Is it because you are tied into the mental aspect and curiousity is killing the cat? What's the difference between not reading it and blocking it? Either way, he doesn't know? Heck, if you need help...send me his email address and I will do the dirty work.

no, no...i don't actually WANT his email. i just want my email account, lol...

i don't WANT to report him, cause i don't feel like going to court and such. i just want him to feel he CAN'T actually get through to me with this email address.

the problem is that, if i just block him, he doesn't receive a message SAYING that i've not received the message...

the best way to stop him is for him to believe that i can't receive email there any more. i've changed my phone number and my address...and this is the last step.

yahoo is free...make a new account and forward the new email to everyone in your address book. You didn't meet him off of here did you? scares me a little

*sighs*

because it could be used as a legal notification, whether i've read it or not.

Did you do something wrong legally that you are trying to avoid? If not, then I wouldn't worry about it

no...

it's a very long story, which i'm not interested in posting publicly.

Why would you need to be contact through your e-mail for legal reasons?

crystal14882's photo

And you may want to get ahold of a lawyer...notification by email does not constitute receiving legal papers...like you said..there is no proof you received it. It has to be served to you or sent certified mail. Contact a lawyer and stop stressing out
