And you may want to get ahold of a lawyer...notification by email does not constitute receiving legal papers...like you said..there is no proof you received it. It has to be served to you or sent certified mail. Contact a lawyer and stop stressing out for certain court cases, the only notification you need is for them to post it in the local paper. they only have to show that they've made reasonable effort to notify you of the case. feel free to email for questions... |

maybe going to a forum isn't the right answer...go to yahoo and search your question on how to bounce an email. If you completely delete the email it will be gone. When he sends an email...it will come back with a mailer-daemon. check it out.

Why not try the direct approach ,, Please don't email me anymore .. I don't want to hear from you .. can't. we have a no contact order (which he's in violation of by emailing me). however, if he gets the order overturned, he MAY be able to use that address as a way to contact me for other legal actions...which i'm trying to avoid. make a fake account along the lines of NOReply@yahoo.com and send him a email saying (your email) is non-existant every time he sends an email, that is about the only way your gonna pull or attempt to pull somthing like that off |

I was going to say something similar. It sounds like it's worth the hassle.

The only way to do that is on the mail-server itself or it's firewall, otherwise, the delivery information is going to be logged. You can send fake responses, etc., etc., but it won't change the logs. Even if you got Yahoo! to block his IP or email address, all he'd have to do is use another one. Echoing someone else's comment, I have yet to see email considered as legal notification of anything by any court. It is not considered reliable enough, nor even certifiable correspondence, due to it's potential anonymous nature. |
