I just get nervous when they don't bring their dog along and keep running into things.

This is why all first dates should be something casual with a quick escape option readily available. A cup of coffee or a short lunch is easy and you can always say "Well nice meeting you but I have errands to run now". Then again if it's going well you can prolong it and see where it goes. |

i went on a date once with this guy, and this girl came up to us and said, your lucky to have her (me) shes really pretty lol that was embaressing. as the night progressed he kept dribbling from his mouth, i thought wtf. so i said im going to the loo, and i did a runner, i hid outside and phoned my mom to come and get me. luckily he never found me hiding.

ya I went to one.......he reminded me of an ex and he drank alot so I was immediately turned off......I kinda ignored him...  was he getting really drunk then and talking rubbish?? doesnt sound good, you should have gone to the toilets and done a runner. I know it's not what you ment, but D amn that's funny |

 I have to say I did. Trying to stay away from profiles that have no photos. If i read the profile and she seems like a possibility, I ask for a pic. No pic, No meeting, and definately no date! |

i did...i went on a blind date, that my friends set me up with..and i've known the kid who was setting me up for years...so when he said i think u'll really like him, i believed him. and we went to the beach to see the auto show and go swimming for a bit...well needless to say, the guy was NOTHING to my liking, and was bitter, and close to 15 years older than me...i told them i was taking a walk, and then ran into this guy i knew from bartending class. and we went to dinner and then he took me home..I never went back to my friend and my other date...

met my wife on a blind date, we had 50 good years togeather. not saying all blind dates work that well but ours did.

and you saw him/her, and you didnt find he/she attractive, or he/she had teeth missing etc, or did he/she talk about crap all night, or exes?? well i have to say that the one blind date that i did go on was a complete disaster....we talked on the phone first and he was all sweet and nice and told me how he looked...lets just put it as he was no brad pitt as he told me he was he was more of a john candy....i know that sounds harsh but why lie about what you look like cause its dissapointing when you meet and i still would have gone on the date....just dont lie |
