it would the problem is we'd get all the religious zealots involved and it would end up bloody.. besides I haven't read the bible in a few years and might have trouble pulling things from memory.. let's not go there just yet... lol

It would have to be done on a local level. Definitely do not want the Federal Gov't going there.

the government I can handle it's the zealots I can't... laugh

But if you start on a local level, the zealots become more manageable.

hmmm see I'm not so sure.. I mean think about a town where all the zealots come out and picket and yell and chant, etc. the one little town mayor wants to keep his job especially if it's election time... sooooooooooooo he goes with the majority no matter what is right or wrong or besides the fact that he goes to that corner, hooker or stripper bar...

That's the thing Princess, if the majority of a community is against it, why force it upon them. The horny guys will just have to go somewhere else.

Ok folks I have thought about the ramifications (the pros) for legalizing prostitution for a very long time, and here is what I would do as a businessman if it was legalized.

1. I would open a brothel

2. ALL employees, no matter of their position, would be
required to have drug screening and medical screening prior
to hire.

3. Absolutely, under no circumstances, would a worker start
going to bed with clients, until they have worked for me for
at least three months (for hiv testing purposes).

4. I would hire men and women, and would employ
bouncers/bodyguards for protection of the other workers.

5. when you came in and hired our services, you would be
escorted by a bouncer to a room upstairs that has a blanket
instead of a door. The bouncer remains outside with the
blanket closed as added protection for the worker.

6. All workers will be required to use condom, and if other
forms of pregnancy protection is wanted, it would be
provided at no expense.

7. full medical, dental, eyeglasses insurance for all
employees.

8. No moonlighting elsewhere or automatic termination.

9. I would give up to six months paid maternity leave (unless
ordered otherwise by doctor); three months either side of
birth.

10. I would match fifty/fifty all money used towards a college
education up through a bachelors degree.

This is just some of what i would do, but it gives you an idea of how much better, it would be over all for the working person if it was legalized.

Free medical insurance while employed. Free cosmetic (to a point) while employed. College assistance. protection from people who would like to get rough or abusive.
