is stuck in my throat... ugh it tastes so chalky. But the good news is my hand is starting to heal nicely after spilling a cup of 200 degree water on it at work on monday yay for 2nd degree burns!

Why are they giving you those? No wonder there are so many people taking these things like candy. They gave them to my dad when he was dying of cancer.

Bread, eat the soft part of a slice of bread, then have a drink of water... they aren't supposed to be taken without food, anyways.

Why are they giving you those? No wonder there are so many people taking these things like candy. They gave them to my dad when he was dying of cancer. It's just a brandname for morphine, and it is prescribed short term for burns, and excesssive pain.

It is suppose to be used for people with pain that is unbearable, say like CANCER. Obviously hers isn't, or she wouldn't be able to type on the computer. It just makes me wonder is all.

Hellkitten, there are varying dosages, and 2 mg and 5 mg, are the milder end of the scale, they aren't all dosages of industrial strength like palliative morphine...
