I use sarcasm on a regular basis and for some reason it's nigh on impossible to tell if someone is sarcastic or serious on this site! Without tone, it just flies right over my head. Anyone else have that problem?

Yes, that problem is something to be wary of. I had this poetry class, and the teacher went around the room with the question "What do you regret doing recently?" Of course every one said something like "I regret not buying those shoes" or " I regret not asking this one girl out" My response was " I regret leaving Ted in the desert, he really deserved a decent burial." No one got it, and I soon dropped the class.
