I agree marie but people seem to think that we are just bots with no feelings behind the screen and we do have feelings....... exeactly my point gyps... the thing is.. im realy over the crap.. now i jsut reply to his email cuz i know it irritates him and i am immature enough to get a kick outa this.. but my thing is.. especialy if you have been talking on the phone and stuff... dont you realize that we are real people here on the other end of this computer.. with real feelings....

well the problem that I think happens is that online dating without the face to face meeting can lead one or both parties to creating a fantasy person someone that no one can live up too .. also the online persona is that who this person really is .. I think that it can cloud the emotions and perspective of one or both parties .. jmho I've got the same persona in person as I do online. Except maybe a little less confidence.

it's been said over and over again in this thread that it has to lead to a live interaction...i beleive this to be true. Honestly if someone was willing to make it an 'exclusive' thing without ever seeing the other person face to face it would worry me. You can put your best foot fowrward all the time online. You have NO CLUE who the other person is...you might THINK you no..but you don't. However, if you meet in person and decide to make it excluse and do a long distance thing that's another story....jmho

However, if you meet in person and decide to make it excluse and do a long distance thing that's another story....jmho i just guess that my big problem with everyones reasoning that if you meet the person.. then you will know if they are crazy or whatever.. the thing is.. i had known my kids dad for many years.. we were together for 7 years.. and until 3 years ago.. things were fine.. then all the sudden i findout about all the crap hes doing to me.. and he turns evil... i had known him for 12 years!! but would have never thought that would happen.. so really it doesnt much make a difference wether you meet someone in person or online.. as long as you are both honest.. thats bout all that matters... and that can happen online or offline ehter.. jmo..

hey izz, well i would say it counts as real dating, i mean at the end of the day your talking and getting to know somone and if anything it makes meeting up alot easier.
