it's understandable Rob.my great uncle just passed away last week.he had been on life support for about a week.they never removed him from life support because his wife made a promise to him that as long as he still had a breathe in his body than she wouldn't have it removed but i guess life support just couldn't keep him alive.

alot of people ask me "are you not upset that he passed away?"and my only answer is "i'm not upset he passed away,instead i'm happy for the kind of life that he lived".

Talk to him, he will hear you. I am sorry you are going through this.

thanks for the outpour folks, it really does mean a lot. i already have a flight booked up there. Strange how things you feel one minute can completely change the next. Anger becomes regret. One thing is for certain, regret is stronger than pride when it all comes down

my dad and i forgave each other 3 days before he passed, i hope you get the chance to at least talk to him. prayers go with you man, if i can help, let me know, nola brother.

Well for what it is worth - I think it is very brave of you to come out with this - who wouldn't be a little overwhelmed considering the circumstances .. life is complicated .. but you from what I know are strong and will get thru this .. It is never weak to tell the truth .. it takes courage to be vulnerable - Godspeed you peace thru this time ...

i lost my dad and funny i knew smething wasnt right he just tilt over and died he came to me that early evening to talk and i told him i didnt have time right now knowing that the last thing i said to my dad huant me and it been a little over 10 yrs im 36 it still hurt i didnt take the time to say goodbye miss u " Sorry Dad" there a song i wish i could make happen call One More Day with U it country song and make me cry LIFE is too Short to fight with loves one so dont ever walk away mad settle it be4 it too late or it can eat a average person to death
