Sometimes things happen that we do not understand
Sometimes life has it's own twists, it's own plan
One day we can be happy, we can be glad
Other days we are down, just plain old sad

Sometimes you have to make choices that can be hard
Just remember sometimes the end result can be a great reward
Just like a mother bird makes the young leave the nest
It just goes to show things do work out for the best

There is always a purpose for everything
Sometimes we lose the most precious things
We may not know the reason why
So we break down and cry

Just remember there are reasons for most everything
Don't forget the comfort a friend can bring
So whether you are happy or whether you are sad
There are reasons for trials to be had.
