I'm working on a choreography for a song come this summer. I listened to the same song for 8 hours today. There is a break in the middle of the song. In the morning, is seemed like a 4 count pause, but the end of the day, it felt like a 16 ct pause!

I'm hoping this will turn out to be an interesting dance, I'm trying to mix up sharp dramatic moves, traveling moves, and slow lyrical moves. It is to a great song on the cd I got with my Vampire game a few years back. If you bought it at a certain location, you got this bonus disc of music.

Only I keep forgetting to look at the disc to see the name. I want to have a great outfit idea for this dance too. But I'm not sure what. This is going to be a more gothic dance than tribal, so to speak. I know we are doing 3 dances, and then any solos and duets we end up doing. So at least 4 dances per person, maybe more.

I don't want to give too much away about any of the dances. Do I probably won't mention the music or what I end up with for costumes. But I will probably mention more about the shows as they approach. Particularily the July show. Not that there are all that many Omaha people on the boards.

Saturday I had my first performance in front of people other than troupe or the local drum circle. I don't think either Isis and I knew for sure we were going until the night before, so we weren't completely prepared for it. I think she must have had an idea, because she wanted to make sure I had a 'kinda costume' with me.

The Lincoln and Hasting troupes are really cool. They didn't know it was my first time dancing a performance in front of people I didn't know. They said they might not have pressured us so much if they knew that. Hmmm, somehow I don't think so. I think it is kinda in their nature. Not in a mean way, but because they are so excited about dancing and want everyone to have fun and participate.

It was a really fun time and I'm so glad I made it.

I plan to order a pattern and make a corset belt. My color scheme is Russet and Black, in general. But for the Dolly outfit, I got dibs on black and red. The only issue is coming up with the right top. We have to start making coin bras soon. All the one's I've seen I don't like. Way too many colors in them.
