Beacuse it atempted to install aqn NSA/FBI survelience program which would allow the government to remotly access my system, manipulate data and copy off anything they felt like. Yea.. that is pretty common. Them NSA and FBI agents don't have enough to do without monitoring our every move. I will humor you though. You being a 'Student / Ex-Telecom/Computer Sceince Professional' as your profile states. What files do you suspect the government put on your system that allows them to mess with ya?

all joking aside, if you visited web sites tagged by US agencies as suspicious, (like for example just googling Anarchist Cookbook) it could get you flagged. Me, I believe that Americans are totally paranoid these days and any move, no matter how innocent can get you under the gaze of "Big Brother"

all joking aside, if you visited web sites tagged by US agencies as suspicious, (like for example just googling Anarchist Cookbook) it could get you flagged. Nope.. Not really. If you were suspected of domestic terrorism..and have already generated an investigation and file.. Sure! But.. it is a numbers game. Following an I.P to a home address is a process they are not willing to do just because you visit a site.

I just recently had my daughters HP Computer repaired. It was suposed to take 7 days. After 30 days I called to coplain, they assured me that I wasgoing to receive top priority. I got it back two weeks after that with a recover dsk "that I don't think I was supposed to see" Beacuse it atempted to install aqn NSA/FBI survelience program which would allow the government to remotly access my system, manipulate data and copy off anything they felt like. Anyone else experence such a comunist act on an american citizen. "Prety freeking scarry!!!!" Sorry bud...you were fed a line of crap! There is no such program, nor an agency that has the time, nor the man-power to even begin to check out all of the private PC's in this world today. Me thinks you are dealing with a computer repair shop that employs a hacker that wants repeat business...very similar to vehicle repair shops that dis' the single female patrons for unnecessary return visits. You have been duped and I suggest that you find another, more reputable computer repair shop for futurs necessities.

Me thinks you are dealing with a computer repair shop that employs a hacker that wants repeat business...very similar to vehicle repair shops that dis' the single female patrons for unnecessary return visits. You have been duped and I suggest that you find another, more reputable computer repair shop for futurs necessities. That boat might float... If he was not a self professed 'Computer Science Professional'... Unless that is double speak for 'I work at the electronics recycle, next to the land fill'.

I'm not paranoid, but I have a little green light on the front of my computer is really a miniature camera that records my every move and relays them to the Homeland Security Department. Does anyone else have a little green camera light on the front of their computer, or is it only mine?
