Retired missionary and her daughter killed in Kenya carjacking

LOUISVILLE — A retired Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) missionary and her daughter were killed in a carjacking Saturday, Jan. 27, in Kenya.

Lois Anderson, former PC(USA) missionary in Africa, and her daughter, Zelda White, were shot in a village just a few miles outside the capital city of Nairobi, according to Doug Welch, the PC(USA)’s area coordinator for Africa.

The carjackers escaped with the vehicle but soon abandoned it. Two of them were later killed by police, according to international news reports.

Three Killed at Bible Publishing Firm

Attackers in Turkey have murdered three employees of a Christian publishing company including one German. The victims had their throats cut. Christian priests have been attacked on several occasions in Turkey over the past year.

The victims had their hands and feet tied and their throats slit, reports said. A fourth person escaped by jumping out of a window and is being treated in hospital.

I understand what you are saying,rabbit. Alot of personal tragedy is just life. Some places more than others. This just proves Yahweh does not enterfere almost all the time. But he does sometimes and most of them we might not even realize or is not made public as tragedy is. I say let them rest in Peace.. Blessings...Miles

MIDDLE EAST, October 8, 2007 (Middle East Concern) - The Palestinian Bible Society (PBS) announced on Sunday that Rami Ayyad, 30, had been found dead near the Bible Society Bookshop in Gaza early that morning. Mr. Ayyad was kidnapped on Saturday, October 6th by an unknown group after he closed the doors of the bookshop at around 16:30.His body was found at 6:25 on Sunday, October 7th with signs of bullets and knife stabs.

This is for the young people who caused my cousin Mary Sienko not to be here on this earth anymore.
I really hope this event will haunt you for years to come.
Mary was a wonderful person, a woman of faith, devoted wife and mother. She also did much volunteering in her life.
Being the Christian woman she was, I don't know if she could not forgive everything in life. Probably she could and would.
But with this event which changed to many lives,her husband, three children, her parents, brother and his wife and family. Endless number of family members. Endless number of friends. Endless number of caring people that she touched in her life.

I hope you can look yourselves in the mirror and realize what happened.
You all will have to face your Maker someday.
But you probaly will have face some of the people who knew her so well.

Woman Falls to Death From Ride in Wis.

OSHKOSH, Wis. - A woman attending a Christian festival died Saturday after plunging about 45 feet from a bungee-like amusement ride.

Workers at the Lifest 2007 event shut down the Air Glory ride after the accident, which occurred about 4:45 p.m.

No it is just so easy to see that the real dangerous rout is to be a Christian. God obviously will not be put into one small book and he continually takes it out on Christians. These deaths show that it is better to not test this vengeful God. Just make sure you do not try to put him in one book. It looks like that really pisses him off. whoa onto you that do not head the obvious.

And wabbit anyone that dies doing God's work will be with the Lord God Almighty......There is no question there.....When any ministry is done in a third world country all ministries know the dangers of it.....I know this when I have done the same. All I have ever said is believe in God as the creator and Jesus Christ as his son........Thats it......I have stated that I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God....But what the heck does that have to do with Jesus rejecting anyone for not believing in the bible.....dang abra if your going to quote peeps you best be sure your right...cuz statistically your always about 99.9% wrong.

Nope because God himself said to worship my son......He sent Jesus to us with one purpose......so to answer your question......no this does not include Jesus.

And where does this source come from that you are quoting? Remember the Old Testament is "supposedly" the word of god, the new testament are the written teaching of Jesus' apostles..NOT the direct word of god, only inspired (supposedly).
