well i dont care what anyone says but more people are harmed by drunk drivers than stoners and yet alcohol is still perfectly legal so pot should be too with rules like not driving stoned or you go to jail or smoking in designated public places so as not to offend others or just stay in you own home till the high wears off no tax=no sale man. I don't smoke, but I would legalize every drug in the country if it were up to me. If you cannot stop drugs in a restricted environment (prison) then you certainly wont ever stop them in a "free society". Take the street value away, sell it for what it really costs, and let the people make the choice. You cannot legislate morality counldnt say it any better myself and there would also be a big drop in crime as well because alot of it is over drugs |

the_don, You are 18 years of age, you know the law, you ignored the law. Stop trying to make excuses and be accountable for your actions. Sucks to be caught, but you really did know better. ...and since you have said that there is more to it and you really do not want to disclose on here. Me thinks there is more guilt than you are letting on. i aint makin excuses i dont really give two ****s about going to prison it is just a walk in the park to me, im just expressing my views and have every right to do so, and i aint gonna lie, the first day im out ima go to my buddies house and toke up, and as for the things im not telling they have nothing to do with drugs in any way, i'll be serving 2 sentences |

Well, take it as you wish The way I see it, you were convicted of a crime, you "were" found guilty... Drug user, drug seller, whatever it may be, and as you stated there is more to it that you dont wish to disclose and I respect that, I dont think that would that be a good idea... My opinion, you get what you deserve, you should serve the time. Drug users and sellers need to be taught good lessons as well, so that way when my daughter get's older I could only hope the population of users and sellers are reduced. Sorry, no sympathy or best wishes from here i don't think i could have said it better... |

First off he posted to tell pl he knows..with out having to write a lot of e-mails... Second..he is only freaking 18..ya not a good thing e has done..or anything else that isn't being disclosed..which really is no ones business... but really..this thread has gone wild.. all the comments about getting F8ed up the Azz...is that really necassary????.. And u wonder why this young man has gotten so defensivve with what he would do to someone who would possibly attack him while doing his time... think about it...at any age it has to be upsetting ..even when anyone does something irresponsible.......but he is young... Oh yes..come on u can tell me he is 18 and he is an adult...but reality is...still young .. Mine r is age and as intelligent and well adjusted and have their lives mapped out extremely well....I will say..and say it twice..they still at 18 have done some stupid things... Really stupid and irresponsible....I thank god they didn't mess up their lives while doing so.. My son who is a Marine..he went wild for a bit...experimenting like many of our youth and he was so stupid about it..and he has a better head on his shoulders.. State police program, fire department and many other things all through his youth.. but he needed to get some things done...to see what is the big deal that other young adults were doing since they were young... How he looked at it was ..on Aug 5, 2007..he was going to be owed by the United States of America..there for he was going to be young as long as he had the time to do so.. As u can see..he is on the right track....but he was still stupid and lost his brain for a little bit at 19... So..how about stoppping with dropping the soap and possibly he wouldn't have gotten so aggressive with his thoughts..... Think about it.....

I think that being around the lowest forms of human life would rub off on you .. and i think that this kid is bragging it up for some sort of macho bull well you know .. fact of the matter it is not something to be proud of .. you broke the law .. I would not want my daughter to date you .. I am an old hippy and I have never been busted for smoking anything .. I no longer par take .. but there is a lot more to this story and this is not your first offense nor your last get used to jail you will be there again again and again |

It isn't just the people you deal with who are doing time, it is the politics of the place that is supposed to control them. People, regardless of their standing in life should not be used as pawns to further anothers future in politics. Firm, fair, consistent, that is all that needs to be taught. I don't think he was bragging, and I honestly believe he is scared (regardless of what he says) and was looking for some understanding. We walk the streets everyday with some very bad people, and never think twie about it. I am glad I am no longer in a position (law enforcement of any kind) to have as much control, and authority over other people. Power corrupts, and yes for awhile, it did get to me. |

they didn't get all these comments... And I don't care of what the offence is.. going to jail wether it be drugs or possibly a dead beat dad.. wrong is wrong.. But why the simpathy towards one..especially who should have been taking care of their young and admits it.. Is it that he idn't get the crap that I see here because he is a grown adult... Just tell me how many of u at 18 havn't done something stupid and wrong at this age... maybe not to the point of being on the wrong side of the law.. but still irrisponsible and wrong... tell me everyone is so perfect... He can brag about going to prison, he didn't do anything wrong, be defiant, toke up the day he gets out.. face it, he's gonna be serving fries with that till the end of days. No sympathy, no best wishes, and that's not lack of compassion... it's well-placed reality.
