I've looked into your eyes,
I've heard your mournful sighs,
and i've caught the tears you've shed
As your heart had dropped like lead.

You never saw me there,
For you were unaware.

It's the chill you felt inside
That saw me where I hide.

The feelings that you shared,
I folded neatly cause I cared.
I saved them just for you,
But that's all that I could do.

I shared the pain you took,
It's written like a book,
Inscribed on my own heart,
Right from the very start.

In darkness here, I wait,
Accepting what be fate.
For once those clouds roll in,
I'll be your strength right then.

You'll never need to know
Where in darkness I will roam
For the light you see
Will be lit because of me.

Very well written. I myself write a LOT of poetry and many other creative informative's. However, I don't ever post mine due to the publication process, etc. I'd hate for someone to take my thoughts written and either make it their own by picking it apart and/or simply using my direct envisions as is. You should always find a way of having your work copy written ;)
