Wells, NV - A 6.0 magnitude earthquake shook in the northeast corner of Nevada 11 miles east southeast of Wells at 7:16 a.m Thursday.

The quake started at a depth of more than six miles underground.

Locally, there have been no reports of damagein Ada and Canyon Counties. Elko County Undersheriff Rocky Gonzalez told FOX 12 News there were unconfirmed reports of some damage to buildings in the Wells area.

The temblor was felt across eastern Nevada, southwestern Idaho, Utah and as far away as southern California with reports of minor damage, falling dishes and cracked house foundations from Boise to Twin Falls.

I am glad too!!flowerforyou When I was growing up we had a 7.3 outside of our small town of Challis. 1983 I think I was 8 or 9. Crumbled the High School and another building colapsed on two little kids walking to school.  It was very scary. Lots of HUGE Boulders rolled off of the mountains and through peoples houses and over their cars etc. but those were the only two deaths.ohwell
