I need a little advice. I met a guy that is in the law enforcement field. I have been told that men in this line of work have a different type of personality or way they relate to other people. We have been dating for a couple weeks and there are times I think he acts very indifferent towards me. It's nothing specific but it's a feeling. But he keeps calling, texting, IM-ing and he always says he wants to see me again. Am I just being paranoid or is he interested? I really like this guy and would like to see where it goes.

yah law enforcement I have never met an officer Id wanna date they are usually arrogant have found a few I wanted to run from tho hehe

OK I got it that pretty much everyone here won't date a cop...but you know cops need love too! I am also understanding that they have different pesonalities than most other people. But is he interested or just playing?

I figure he is just playing...wanting in ur panties. If ya turn him down or dump him..he will get revenge as only a cop can. Ur screwed either way, looks like to me

I am not sure whether you really want anyone to tell you what to do. Follow your own instincts and if this question is really on your mind the person to ask is him, face to face.

I don't want to be told what to do but I would like some opinions so I can decide what I am going to do. People get blinded when in situations like this and other people can see what they can't. Opinions and advise can't hurt and may just help. I also feel that's it's a little too soon to be asking him how he feels about me.

I have known many law enforcement employees who are model, ideal, fun, loving people - some who are complete azzholes (the job doesnt make the person )

I truly believe our own instincts are our best guides.

I was state patrol for 4 years, before I actually wanted to make real money . Indifference may be his way of trying to feel you out. Cops are very suspecting of people, it comes with the territory. If you are interested ride it out a bit longer, and see how it flows. I wouldn't waste a long time on it, but I wouldn't give up so easiy either if you like him
