this discussion brings to mind that great democratic president of a few years back's answer to a question under oath, "Depends on what your definition of is is." Now THAT reflects true intelligence. And we are bad-mouthing what Rush L. said? will cents...... I remember Clinton doing that. When I first heard one of the pundits mentioning it at the time, I thought it was a joke, that the talking head was just making fun of Bill. Then after I heard it repeated over and over again on the various talk shows, I couldn't believe it. Well, maybe if Bill had completed his stint as a Rhodes Scholar, he would have known better than to use the "is is?!"

Some of the words of wisdom Rush says over and over are "We, as a nation, have no shame." In reference to the above, Rush is correct ...... movie stars who, whether we like it or not, are role models to many of our teenagers are doing drugs, driving under the influence, and having children out of wedlock. What is the trickle-down effect? Those movie stars are even more pupular than ever. Look at Britney Spears' 16-year old sister. The consequences of this teenager getting pregnant without benefit of marriage is that her show is even more pupular than ever. Our elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, are cheating on their wives, going to jail for various crimes of corruption, and not keeping campaign promises. What does the public do? We relect these officials who have no morals and most certainly no qualms about breaking the laws, which they are elected to uphold. I could go on and on but, hopefully, you get the picture.

Rush is a legend that will never be forgotten. He is intelligent and has a unique political aptitude. He may be gruff as compared to maybe Sean Hannity (my hero) who presents himself as more easier going, yet Hannity really digs deep and exposes a lot of wrong doing going on, to the point where I get worried about his safety, because some of the things he brings out into the open, well are a little dangerous to be talking about. There is Bob Beckel who is a left wing liberal, on Hannnity and Colmes and Fox a lot. There is ONE democrat political analyst that I can listen to and feel like I have listened to an intelligent conversation. Colmes,a left wing liberal democrat, albeit he is a nice guy, puts up such a weak defense, I feel let down. He comes across as a little crybaby. Still, the most powerful now, or I think ever to come, is Rush Limbaugh. The Conservative of all Conservatives. With a power packed purpose and agenda that no one can beat. Lindyy

Just one more note, to all who hate Rush, one thing about modern technology that I think is the greatest invention of all time is the REMOTE. If I don't like what I am hearing, there is the wonderful little 'ol MUTE button! If I do not like what I am seeing, I FLIP the channel! So easy, so simple, so non-complicated. Or, you can do what my Golden does when she does not like the 'atmosphere' in a room - she goes to another room in the house and takes a snooze. Don't know what the problem is with the rest of you.
