i see in yer pic u still got "the hair" man!!! i cut mine off in 2000 but had it down to my azz for 20 yrs! yup... there's a 3-foot pony tail hanging off my head... haha... if God intended for us to get haircuts, we'd be born bald... haha |

Got me thinkin bout all my fave hair bands! Great white Salty sog Mind funk Danger Danger Firehouse Dangerous Toys Babylon A.D. Testament Dokken Overkill Helloween Kix Europe Junkyard Enuff Znuff Oh god i cant stop...lol First of all....................... WASP- Ahead of there time? Yup, they were. But then again, it is Blackie who went to war with the PMRC. I know most remember Dee Snyder and his testimony before Gore and company, but Blackie and WASP were one of the first targets of the PMRC. And it only made Blackie become wilder. In fact, I believe because of him and what he stood for paved the way for many bands and singers today. I feel Reznor, and Manson and other controversial acts owe alot to Blackie. The guy just stood tall for what he believed. Anyways, WASP was one hell of a band. Loved Blind In Texas and I Wanna Be Somebody. Favorite album has to be Headless Children. Had a real message to it. Enuff Z Nuff- Was there any other hair band that wore more makeup than Poison? Yup...and it was these guys, lol. New Thing was a good song too. Whitesnake- Coverdale was a Plant clone, but man this band rocked. Still of the Night is one of the greatest rock tunes ever. Here I Go Again is awesome too. Poison- Loved there music. This band, along with Crue were the epitomy of sleeze...lmao. Britney Fox- Cinderella clones, but man, Long Way To Love is just an awesome tune. Can't forget Girlschool either. Cinderella- I feel this band was the most underrated band of there time. Tom Keifer was an absolute awesome musician, and this band mixed blues with rock like no other. Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone is one of the best ballads of all time. Gypsy Road is a kick ass tune as well. Dokken- If there was ever a guitarist who never got his due, it was George Lynch of Dokken. Dude is one of the best guitaists I have ever heard. And Don Dokken's voice was just killer. Slaughter- Up Al Night is one of the best songs to be played at a strip club. I mean. Watch a stripper dance to it. It is mesmerizing. Lol! Def Leppard- Most successful hair band of the 80's. Who doesn't love Pour Some Sugar On Me? Lol. Bad English- Okay. We all had a bf or gf and we would all request When I see you smile...right? RIGHT? Lol. SteelHeart- Had one hit, but boy you remember dudes voice when he sang "I'll Never Let You Go". Stryper- Okay. So they are Christian rockers. Who cares? Dudes had some great music. Michael Sweet hit the high notes like none other. Awesome band. Living Colour- Loved that four black men showed the world that black people could rock out as well. Cult Of Personality is a classic song with a great message. |

Steele has one of the best voices of all time. I mean...singing that low and then high, and the way he does it is just awesome. Love you to death Christian Woman Everything Dies Wolf Moon World Coming Down Paranoid My Girlfriends Girlfriend Black No.1 Cinnamon Girl Everyone I love is dead And so many more. Great band.

Type O's style is just different. I mean, when you hear a song begin, there style is noticeable. Once Steele's voice hits, you know you are listening to Type O. They can play fast or slow in the same song and they make it sound so freaking good. Steele, like Maynard of Tool and APC and Mann of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult has one of those voices that is just not like any other. I love the pain he has in his voice on Everything Dies. Great song. I also loved there cover of Summer Breeze. Sounds so wicked with the guitar track at the beginning.

I'm listening to Whitesnake right now and it just reminded me of back when I was in middle school.  Bands like Whitesnake, Warrant, Poison, Motley Crue, White Lion, Queensryche and so many more!!! Who else loved this era of music!! and what are your favorite long hair bands and songs... MOtley Crue, SKid Row, Warrent, Poison, Winger, Kix etc are still awesome... |

I'm listening to Whitesnake right now and it just reminded me of back when I was in middle school. Bands like Whitesnake, Warrant, Poison, Motley Crue, White Lion, Queensryche and so many more!!! Who else loved this era of music!! and what are your favorite long hair bands and songs... MOtley Crue, SKid Row, Warrent, Poison, Winger, Kix etc are still awesome... Yep, Yep...those were some good times then..my kids say I am still stuck in that era..but I love it, and they even love the hairband music..

Yep, Yep...those were some good times then..my kids say I am still stuck in that era..but I love it, and they even love the hairband music.. the 80s rule, look i'm 20 i missed most of the 80 and what i was here for i was tooo young to appreciate, but i went to my first motley crue concert when my mom was pregnant with me... and i blame that for my love of it all, and if you like hair metal check out Nikki Sixx band Sixx AM... it aint hair metal but it is freakin awesome |
