Just met this guy who is a really young looking 50 and we have great chemistry. I am 54, the other night we had tentative plans and then he calls me last minute to tell me he is gonna be out late, so I couldn't come over to spend time with him like we had planned. He tells me he really likes me and we text alot and have great conversations but do you think because of the age thing he is keeping me on the side but looking for a younger chick. I look pretty good but still compared to a 45 y.o. can not compete, should I give him the benefit of the doubt and keep seeing him or cut it off before I get too hurt.

I agree with bgeorge, just enjoy the ride...see where it takes you. If you are really concerned about the age thing, talk it over with this fellow, his reaction will give you a good clue about what he wants.

maybe he was just really out late. I don't think the age thing would be that big of deal, but then again we are all dogs, so I can't for sure say. The last minute thing was kinda cold, but maybe it was something embaressing that happened, like he had to go to the hospital to get his junk removed from a over pumped penis enhancing device.
Or maybe he broke out with pus ridden hives because he ate shellfish, or his nerves just got the best of him.
You gotta remember most of these old guys are gunshy they havent been on a hunt sense muzzle loaders, and throwing rocks.

See what happens, if after a while you're still concerned maybe then cut it off, but just see what happens now. flowerforyou

What was his reasoning for "being out late"? How long have you known him??

That small of an age difference is not significant. My ex is five years younger than me.

You are either right for each other or you are not. It is not a competition.

She didn't say anything about a "20 year old". Take a deep breath...reach around...pull it out and concentrate...smokin

Well, it depends then... If you care whether he's being honest, respectfull, blah blah blah.. I think you should be suspicious, but don't overact..

After only 2 weeks, I think that's a sign worth noting... But nothing detrimental at all.. Keep your eye's open for more signs if it matters..
