I'd prefer to know someone fairly well before they started giving me nicknames like "baby".. But once I get close to someone, I use them alot. I use "honey" alot with my friends, but "sexmuffin" is reserved for my friend Jacob, and people give us the STRANGEST looks when I call him that bigsmile

Have to admit, I would have to wonder about that as welllaugh laugh
laugh Now that I can understand as being freaky and inappropriate, lets not throw around the dreaded L wordflowerforyou drinker

Oh I LOVE when someone says they love me...then I can mess with their headdevil devil

I knew a guy that tried to tell me it was perfectly acceptable where he was raised to refer to a woman as b*tch or c*nt...I told him it may be acceptable there but here you will show respect. I will generally respond to anything, some things just catch me off guard, but I will still answer.

It's a very select few people who are allowed to use such terms with me. But we just have that kind of relationship, and we know we're joking, and it's okay. But if some random person tried to call me that, I would tell them what-for.

Just causing trouble on the 4th and 5th page of the cacofoany" or however she spelled it thread. Lots of drama, and I'm trying to be both annoying and funny.

Yea I was talking to him on the phone. He lives in North Dakota but says he was raised in California. I was talkin to him one time and he says, "hold up b*tch, I was about to say somethin"...NO ONE TALKS TO ME LIKE THAT. I was raised to show respect to everyone, unless they give me reason not to. Now sometimes one of my friends will say "you're a b*tch" but I know they are joking because I will have just done something stupid or unintentionally mean.

laugh laugh I am trying to keep my nose clean for now. I have someone that's following me around in the threads. Everytime drama happens, he seems to show up right behind me.

I did and we reached an agreement that he would not to it anymore. It worked for a while, then he turned psycho and started stalking a bunch of people.

With terms of endearment? If you just met someone and they already are saying things like "baby" or stuff like that, are you uncomfortable with that?

Ok, this is a given. Guys are easy and they will take what they get most of the time. This is more on the subject for women.

ill play with this though:wink:

being a male like someone said, it depends on the woman for me, but being thet this is the net and looks can be the cause of anothers reaction on what they might say, mostley in the first email. For me, it's something ill play with, but ill have my limits with things because being on here. Every woman on here has heard just about everything you can say to a woman and it gets old real quick with some....
