does anyone ever feel like they will never live up to their parents expectations????

yes. and i hate it also because it's like i want to be out on my own..and do my own thing..but at the same time i have to impress them..and it sucks because my sister..never did..so my mom always expects alot from me..

I don't think I'll live up to my dog's expectations, If I think about my parents thats a panic attack waiting to happen.

eh i do whatever my mom i guess has expections but she is in her own world. she really never encourged me.

my parents only expectation of me is to one day give them at least one grandchild....they hope after i'm married...and i know i'll live up to that..

 shes got liek 3 masters degrees, 2 bachelors and is very successful i dont think i can live up to it

I don't have to feel like it. They remind me everyday when they call.

Nope, I never feel that way. They have told me all my life, to be happy in whatever I do. They hope I do find that one person, but they are ok if I am single for the rest of my life.
