Okay, I'm gonna start this off by saying I'm not a prude at all, but is it just me or does the topic of sex come up too quickly when you meet someone?
It's like after the first two days you know someone you know way the hell too much about them. If it's our second time out together it's probably not a good idea to just bring up how you banged the entire junior pee wee basketball all-stars while in school. That's way more than I need to know and right away I can tell the way this relationship is going to go. Hell I don't need to know that kind of info in the first month.
call me old fashioned but, isnt relationships supposed to be about romance and trying to make the heart grow founder, inside, not just physical pleasure like a dog in heat.
I would like to have time to atleast woo a lady before the pants drop. I think highly of myself and I look for that in others. Not saying that lifestyle is wrong just saying its not my style.
It's as though anyone you meet anymore has done things that shock the hell out of me, what happened to just plain ol' love? Just the simple things, like flowers on the doorstep, walking a lady to her door, pulling their chair out for them and standing as they leave? Have those things gone forever, is it now we just get drunk and bump fun factories?
I personaly hope not, It's hard at times too meet someone on that same level, It's as though women have been reprogramed into sex toys, I don't want that, I mean sure I can have sex with you then what? Can you play chess, what books do you read, can you build a card house? I dunno because you never gave me time to find out. I just hope we as a society can grasp the true values of love, the values that hold people together for 45 years and not just evolve into mindless sex drones..I dunno I guess I'm ranting about nothing, but I would like to think I'm not the only who isnt okay with this, but I think I am.

I'm not going to get in to it fully...however my first "Girlfriend" was when I was 17. Lever her when I was 18. the next on didn't show up untill I was 21, left her when I was 23, then my last one was when I was 25 and she left me just before I turned 29.

i agree with what your saying...but maybe when some men change there ideals..maybe women wont feel pressured into thinking sex is the answer..after all its still ok for men to sleep around and they arnt assumed to be easy...but women still in this day and age get the titles they dont deserve...if that makes sense
