There is this guy i know. He is going to Alaska in July to meet a possible, lets just say, Mail order Bride. Its not a done deal, its just a meeting.He wants to know what i think about it. I didnt give him a answer yet. what do you think about the Mail order Bride thing?

That is not uncommon for Alaska...there are lot of "mail order" people up there....even men looking for woman down here...this is lack of people that live up there to chose from...because of the climate. I have 2 friends that went up there...they are happy as hell...gotta have the backbone to live up there....

I would be very cautious a lot of people just want a ticket into the states, I think that anything is possible but you have to keep an open mind but not a blind eye .. make sense??

if he has to go to Alaska to find a women he must be hard up and in bad shape, good grief, there are women close by he can hook up with...get real, he is making a big mistake, but then that's what life is about, making mistakes, someday he will probably be laughing about it. or crying

I would be very cautious a lot of people just want a ticket into the states, I think that anything is possible but you have to keep an open mind but not a blind eye .. make sense?? Shoes..Hon...Alaska is one of our states...so I don't think that would be an issue. Now if it was like Russia or Cuba ...maybe...I'd think twice... |

Yeah, I don't know what to say about that either, My grandfather met his second wife that way , she was a "mail order bride" from post ww2 germany, my father used to call her screaming mimi.
I suppose if he finds happiness then all the power to him, but I think that this would be a very shaky way to try and make a connection. |

makes me wonder what this guy looks that he cant get a woman the traditional way.. Hon...have you ever gone into some of thier dating sites up there....Wow...they got some pretty hot people up there that are educated too...Just hard for them to find anyone...the jobs are different up there. |

Getting one from Alaska is like ordering a plain cheese pizza! Get one from one of those third world countries! hell, at least they APPRECIATE what a man has to give them over here. unlike MOST American women! And in a third world country, you can get "two for the price of one!" Like two 20 year olds instead of a 40! So GO FOR THE GOOD STUFF...DON"T BUY AMERICAN!   OK, here is where I let all the FURIOUS women know..this was JUST A JOKE!!!!!
