I have a saying on my profile:
"They say a sign of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over, expecting different results." So .. talk to me here. Why the H*LL do we do that????????????????????????????

its a learning lesson to keep repeating your mistakes we all do that

well if we KEEP repeating them .. then we've proven we LEARNED nothing
|

Although the voices in my head aren't real....They do make some good suggestions from time to time!

Because at the time, we don't recognize that it is the same (or a similar) situation. That, or we think it's different this time because it's a different person or the relationship dynamic is different. So this time it will be okay. Sometimes we just figure that this person won't let us down, or that they'll stand by us. But at the same time, if you always question if this person's going to let you down because of past experiences, you'll never open up to someone and be truly happy.

It's habit and comfort zone. You have to break out of your comfort zone to do something different, and most people have a really hard time doing that. We may recognize we need to, but putting it into actual practice, not as easy.

Because at the time, we don't recognize that it is the same (or a similar) situation. That, or we think it's different this time because it's a different person or the relationship dynamic is different. So this time it will be okay. Sometimes we just figure that this person won't let us down, or that they'll stand by us. But at the same time, if you always question if this person's going to let you down because of past experiences, you'll never open up to someone and be truly happy. Ya but more than making the same mistake with the same person .. which is pretty identifiable .. How about you make the same mistake but with different people, different scenarios. That makes me feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooo blonde. *rolls eyes and sighs* Why can't women think LOGICALLY like men do ........

It goes back to the inner child.....back to your childhood.......something you couldnt fix in the "family" which you mirror onto your next lover.....ya creepy stuff!!

Men don't always think logically either. When the heart is involved and you find yourself torn between what your brain and heart say, it's much more appealing to follow your heart. |
