Ive made the same mistake more them a few times.Ive been on and off with one girl since 01,havint seen her since oct. but we talked for over a hour last nite,and Im thinkin about hookin up again.
But why? I dont know.
It will just end badly again I know that,But theres this lil bit of hope in me that maybe it might work out this time.yeah not f**kin likely though.

Yep. And I'll tell ya something. I did that for 3 years with my ex BF. I always hoped, it always failed.

but then the another way to look at it is, what if I dont find that someone?
I just threw away a chance to at least spend more time with someone I care about.

Im not talkin about sex,I can get that easy but there is something more about this girl,she can make me the happiest or the sadest person, depending on her mood.
shes the only person in this world that can make ME feel insecure.and she knows that.

Hey All -- earlier tonight I gave my ex another chance and I shot myself in the foot again (well maybe I didn't). We were with friends when the a** hole gene he has kicked in again. Fortunately this time I shot back and surprised everyone including myself. Enough is enough I'm a good woman and I don't know when he'll realize that. Can't let INSANITY win out again even though I do love him. It sucks

Oh we've all done it. I had a FOUR year brain fart trying over and over with the same crazy woman trying to make it work. (Trying to recapture the magic I felt during the first six months of our relationship). I consider myself to possess above average intelligence, so I don't think it was an intellectual flaw. It's one of those things ya just can't help. And once you think you've grown up and will never do it again, BOOM, here comes another one.

Bottom line is, that's life and love. I don't consider it a weakness or a flaw, it's love. And the moment you think you can rationalize emotions, then life has a funny way of ***** slapping you back into reality.

The one good thing I can say about repeated mistakes is that if you're lucky enough to finally find someone special, all those bad experiences will make you appreciate that person so much more. I hope...

Maybe it is part just trying to pick the parts we like and falling in the trap of also picking the parts we don't like. Example; I have always liked family oriented guys but I got really sick of dealing with guys who let certain family members absolutely make dating misery because there was such a huge demand on them. Think balance is a lot of it.
