and pictures...what the hell is with the pictures..so many people here dont any,just snapshots of art and sci-fi crap... look at me..i know im a little shorter then average,thats why i try harder then anyone i know...kind of like over-compensating a little yaa know...but even though im not too tall..i put myself in here,pictures and all... Why do you let your height interfere with any self esteem? no now at all jim...but it's real..very real..a woman will notice taller man first befor a shorter one..thats why we vertically challenged men have to try harder at the gym..at work..at life generaly speaking...no for me it never really was a self esteem issue..but to devour all those who are taller them me issue 
I am 6 foot, not tall and not short, kinda in between so I cant say hands on that I know...Not sure how tall you are, but if your shorter than say 5 3, or 5 4 I would say your not abnormal? I have plenty of guy friends that are very short and do fine meeting people. They are very confident in themselves in their charachter. I also have never felt like I needed to compete with another man or as you would say "devour"...I have one very simple philosophy. I am who I am, I am fun to be with, and make sure the company around me feels good and has a good time, and if you dont like me because of my build, my appearance, or possibly my height, then simply get away from me. I dont want to have to work at making friends or possibly meeting women, if it just doesnt happen naturally? Then oh well, it just doesnt happen... correct..i have always been as well..for the most part..confident..but that only happened durring my hitch-hicking adventures across canada all those years ago..beofre then,yes i must say that my confidence was very low..it's like a speech impediment..or..someone with acne..in more then most a question of looks or stature can be very de-bilatating.. but when i was told by so many strangers at 17 years old that to travel accross canada..alone.took so much courage.i looked at my life a whole new way...and yes,in a competition sort of a way i was trying to devour all...when i was plaaying rubgy to my construction job..i certainly never place myself above others.. but i have learned that many years ago,never to be dismayed by my stature again... but it's true..and most shorter men realize this..that we do have to try harder then most,until it becomes part of our inner being... didnt mean to suggect that my esteem is still damaged because of my hieght..that was a lifetime ago... |
