As I sat here listening to the faucet drip.
All I can think about is my trip.
Outside I can hear the rain as the wind blows.
Sitting here watching the candle glow.
As I sit and think of this trip of mine.
Makes me wonder will it be the last time.
Could it be possible that this is the day.
That I find that special one that lives so far away.
Could it be you, that will take away the blues.
Make me laugh and love, and tell me it's true.
That I've finally found the one to hold my hand.
To walk with me, beside me and be my man.
Could we both be able to help each other to mend?
And come together first being true friends.
As we play outside in the fresh fallen snow.
Could it be our friendship has started to grow?
Before we know it we seem to fit like a glove.
As I look into your eyes I can see the love.
As I sit here listening to the rain it seems.
That once again I have been lost in my day dreams.

Really....get back to work......................!

Yeah M, there are a lot of good poets here that seem
to inspire ones like me to give it a try. I do enjoy
there poems and there words seem to draw you into
there poems as if you were there.
