“Just Thoughts”


I sat here and ponder.
About life as I wonder.
What life could have been?
If maybe it had taken a different spin?
Would things have ended up like they are?
Could have life been any more bizarre.
Is there really a normal for things to be?
Would it still just only be me?
One never knows where life will go.
For it is not for us to know.
But within time we will find out.
You see for there is no doubt.
It does not matter what we think.
Cause before we have the chance to blink.
It seems as if life at times has passed us by.
And leaves us asking why?
You see from the time of our birth.
And we were placed upon this earth.
We have always wondered how or why.
And wonder if life will pass us by.
But then in the end it seems.
We always sit and talk about our dreams.
Some we had finally came true.
Then some ended up leaving us blue.
But all in all life is what it is.
If we don’t watch out we will wonder is this.
All there is for me.
Or is there more to be?
