Am I unrealistic to want a girl who isn't overweight or obese?
I don't want one who is super thin either. All I want is someone who clearly has taken care of herself, healthy and smart.

Want what you want, I'm sure you have your reasons... How many women don't want you for some reason... Nature of the beast.. Don't fight it... Roll with it.

Um, preference is preference, but if everyone were the same, we wouldn't be thinking much at all, would we? :o) I like a good thick woman, I think it's sexy as hell.

YES!!!!
Just because someone is overweight does not in any way mean that they are unhealthy or stupid.
It is a proven fact that the USA has more overweight people in it then anywhere else in the world.
We outnumber you. And we can't all be wrong.

We are all entitled to our personal preferences. If a man liked larger women it does not make me a bad person. It's all about choices.

I once got turned down by a larger woman for being Too Thin... So it all swings either way. Me personally, I like thin women.. I'm thin and I like my girl to be thin... Just my preference. Everyone has theirs.

I'm neither thin nor fat. A size 10. To many men, that's fat. They want a size 0 or 3. That's fine with me. I usually don't find those men attractive anyway.

They say the average woman living in America is a size 14. What this means is that you may be running into more overweight women.

Is your expectation unreasonable? No. There are lots of thin women out there. Some have missing or rotten front teeth. Some have extremely flat chests. Guess they really know how to take care of themselves.

Don't assume larger people are unhealthy or don't take care of themselves.

I notice some may have been aware that i said Healthy and smart... the smart part has nothing to do with a persons size, more rather i like someone that can hold a conversation . Healthy... my x is a large built woman, not fat or obese. so to say a 5'2" woman at 160 lbs, square built naturally. The actual weight part isn't an issue, more rather that she is taking proper care. There are points where I feel that i can't handle someone who may in the future become diabetic or have heart problems due to their being unable to care for and about themselves. I've seen a couple of members of my family go down that route, and don't want my future partner to go through it. Too thin/ skinny makes me think they don't eat... no better than obese. Healthy means healthy, you take care of yourselves big or small.

Really? I think that's a myth that the fashion industry has shoved down our throats for so long that many people believe it. I don't know one man who would want a woman to be a size zero. Someone that small is really unhealthy.

And not to be a **** or anything, but it's called overweight for a reason. Being overweight is unhealthy. You may be comfortable with it, sure. But that doesn't change the fact that it's unhealthy.

I actually think again you just know what you want...and that is a good thing....And I think it's sweet that you would just not want your partner to get any illness because of weight. I am a big woman who is healthy as a horse...and I think genes play a big part.
