did someone say lions, hey stlram72 how long did it take the rams
offense to click in martzs' forst season? he's a good coach and i'm
excited to see what they can do but that first game was a killer, they
didn't score a td.

It was once they got the pieces in place. Traded for Marshall Faulk.
Issac Bruce was already a darn good receiever. Drafted Torry Holt.
Trent Green was the starting QB....of course he went down and Kurt
Warner stepped in....the rest is history. Dick Vermeil was head coach,
and had been building the defense for a couple years already, so once
all the pieces fell into place on offense, there was no stopping the
Rams.

Once Detroit gets all offensive pieces in place...look out NFL. Your
defense looked pretty darn good against the Seahawks.....so there is
hope there on that side of the ball.

A solid offensive line...I think you guys have some good receivers and a
young RB with promise. But Jon Kitna ain't gonna cut it. He isn't bad,
but he ain't Trent Green or Kurt Warner, or Marc Bulger. Kitna can
manage a game, but the Lions need a QB for the future. Maybe they can
make a trade.

I tell you who would be lights out in Martz offense is Matt Schaub, Mike
Vick's backup in Atlanta. He's really a better passer than Vick, by
far, it's just Vick can run and comes with the hype. Schaub could start
for most teams, and is 25 years old. Bulger would be too. Maybe Billy
Volek, who SHOULD be starting for the Titans.

alot of teams were talking about matt schaub last year. the reason we
have kitna and probably had'nt made a trade before was joey harrington,
i don't think he's a bad qb but he wasn't doing well here and i think he
needed a fresh start somewhere.
rams surprised the broncos in week 1 with their defense and your rb
looked good, good luck
