Topic: 4 year old whining

So I have been dealing with my 4 year olds whining atitude today for about the past 2 hours, I'll send him to his room and then he throws a God awful fit. Lately he seems worse then ever. Thankfully he is calmed down now, but my gosh. I try my best to sit him down and talk to him about why he cant be whining and that he needs to act more like a big boy. I think that I just may have to try out for Supernanny:(

He's whining because you give in far too often. It's natural. Babies cry when they want food and a diaper change. He's 4, ween him off of that. P.S. -- You can't talk to a 4 yr old like an adult. Lead through example.

He's whining because you give in far too often. It's natural. Babies cry when they want food and a diaper change. He's 4, ween him off of that. Well actually I dont give in to him, well not all the time anyways

WELL AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST MY SON BEING A TYPICAL 4 YEAR OLD,BUT I TOOK HIM TO THE DOCTOR AND FOUND OUT HE WAS BIPOLAR.

My doctors thought it was a good idea to shove pills down my throat when I was a kid. I was hyper, throwing tantrums, all that good child stuff. It's natural. Now, 20 years later, I'm leading a successful life with no problems in the real world. I don't believe a doctor unless he can prove it on paper. :\|

Look at the medical field in general. EVERYTHING has become a disease. It puts money in the pockets of the already rich.

Not some doctor trying to put a buck in his pocket.

I've got my dad's short temper, but I've learned to harness it through his guidance. Instead of blowing up on people in the real world, I can step back now and come up with a progressive solution to most any problem.

You probably werent thrown in a child institution by a doctors recommendation where they bunk you up with strangers and come in at night trying to stab you in the ass with a needle so they can try to find something wrong with you and charge your parents more money! There was NOTHING wrong with me. I went through a lot of ** as a kid because of doctors and that's where my personal opinion comes from. Take it or leave it.
