hey did you all realize that your tears (you know the water that comes out of your eyes) is made up of the same ingredients as your urine? Thats right, they are damn near identical, if not completely identical.
Just thought I would share that with all the parents here who have kissed their childrens tears away in the past |

Where on earth are you getting your information??? Ingredients in Tears: water, mucin, lipids, lysozyme, lactoferrin, lipocalin, lacritin, immunoglobulins, glucose, urea, sodium, and potassium Tears brought about by emotions (crying, laughing too hard, etc) have a different chemical make up than those for lubrication; emotional tears contain more of the protein-based hormones prolactin, adrenocorticotropic hormone, and leucine enkephalin Ingredients in Urine: Water, Electrolytes (sodium and chloride ions mostly - from salt), Nitrogen, Acid (hydrogen ions or bicarbonate ions), Metabolites (extra chemicals we've consumed but our bodies don't need), Dissolved heavy metals ( Copper, Zinc, Chromium, Lead, Cadmium, etc), and Glucose. Yeah, there's some similarity but your kidneys have a significantly different function than your tear glands. |
